Alpha terms, in plain words.
These are the ground rules for the Phase 1 alpha. They are a plain-language draft and will be replaced by full terms before NEXUS leaves alpha.
It’s an alpha
NEXUS is unfinished. Things will change, break and sometimes be reset while we build it. We’ll try hard to keep your account, avatar and collection safe, but we can’t promise that nothing will ever be lost during the alpha.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on your account. Usernames must not impersonate others or be offensive, and we may rename or remove ones that are.
Flux and cosmetics
Flux is a fictional currency with no real-money value. It can’t be bought, sold or exchanged for money. Cosmetics are cosmetic only. Both belong to NEXUS and are licensed to you for use in NEXUS; they may be adjusted or rebalanced during the alpha.
Behavior
Be decent to other people. Don’t harass anyone, cheat, exploit bugs on purpose, or try to break the servers. We can mute, suspend or ban accounts that do. The safety page explains more.
Things you build
What you build in your Pocket is yours to enjoy in NEXUS. Don’t build things that are hateful, sexual or that copy someone else’s work without permission.
Privacy
We store as little as we can. Privacy lists all of it.
